Allen Holsopple has a B.A. in Psychology from Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana, and a Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary, Lexington, Kentucky. He has also attended the Business School at Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas. After serving as a pastor for several years, Al became a Nursing Home Administrator for 35 years. As an Administrator, Al was responsible for budgeting, building and expansion projects, hiring, personnel policies, admissions, and public relations. He was recognized as a leader in long term care and the implementation of cutting-edge models of care.
Throughout the years, Al has volunteered for many non-profit organizations, including hospice, public housing, sexual assault and domestic violence, and has served in leadership roles in those organizations. Currently he is retired and enjoys reading, work in his woodshop, and serving as a Legislative Analyst for a Senator in the Maryland General Assembly.
